6/71

2 miles (10:30) on the dreadmill and 20 minutes of stretch.  Everything from my butt to my toes is super tight.  Planning on more stretch tonight.  Overall feeling good about finishing Urban Cow even though it won't be my fastest finish.

Up tomorrow?  5 miles.

  2. saw your post on abs... instead of crunches have u done the plank pose? I've been doing that and my stomach is stronger as well as arms.. I couldn't believe the results I got from doing the plank.,.within a few weeks my stomach muscles were tight. I had read in Health Mag., Cameron Diaz does it ..

  3. Just giving in to the fact that I will be running just to finish is a positive move for me! I used to be so crazy obsessed with time that running held no joy for me. I am perfectly happy being slower this year.

I've got a Pilates DVD that just about kills me! The plank is rough but very effective!

  4. the first week of doing the plank is hard but after that it wasn't bad.. i can do 10 reps at 60 sec. a piece.. from what i read 10 reps seems to be good enough
